A photo post today of the Aït Mansour gorge.
We weren’t the only ones on the way there that day.
It’s just a thirty kilometre detour south of Tafraoute.
Along good mostly single track road but with plenty of room pullover onto piste to pass other vehicles.
Fortunately you don’t see much traffic.
It was well worth the detour.
Palmeries line the bottom of the valley.
You can stay overnight in the parking area for twenty dirhams.
After the parking area the road gets narrower.
Because there’s hardly any traffic its a pleasant walk.
The frogs are noisy.
Very noisy.
The views are spectacular.
A small community live and work here.
Tourism is starting to make its mark.
A cafe or two have opened up.
New and old together.
What a place.
Back in Tafraoute.
We tried another of the three campsites before heading back to the coast.
Super!
مسا لخير!
Looks incredible 😍 … a long way from Scotland 😩
